A specification sheet is a list of permissions, not a list of charges. Read from FxPro's MetaTrader 5 Raw+ feed, this page says what an order is allowed to be - from 0.01 lot to 500 lots in 0.01-lot steps, one standard lot equal to 100,000 units on an FX major, and no minimum stop distance, since the measured stops level is 0 - and how the server behaves when it fills one. Only two lines here have money attached: the commission on a raw-spread account, at $3.50 per lot per side, and the margin levels that decide when a position is closed out. Everything else that can reach the balance is decided somewhere other than this sheet - by an instrument's own terms, by the institution that moves your money, or by a calendar, as with the inactivity fee that lands after six months of no activity. Conditions say what you may do; what it costs is on the cost pages.

Order rules and account risk

  • Minimum order 0.01 lot and maximum 500 lots, in 0.01-lot steps (0.01 lot = 1,000 units on an FX major).
  • No minimum stop or limit distance (stops level 0) — you can place a stop-loss or take-profit right next to price, which suits scalping and expert advisors.
  • Margin call at 10% and stop-out at 0% margin level, as measured on the Raw+ account — confirm the live levels in your own terminal before risking capital.
  • Contract size 100,000 units per lot on FX majors and 100 oz per lot on gold.

Measured by placing real market orders on the Raw+ account and timing each fill; slippage is the price difference (in points) between the click and the fill, and ‘at price / better / worse’ counts how those fills landed. Small sample (a few round-trips per size) — indicative, last read 2026-06-24.

Permissions and prices are two different lists

Read as a permissions list, this page is short and exact. An order may be as small as 0.01 lot and as large as 500, in 0.01-lot steps; one standard lot is 100,000 units on an FX major; a stop or a limit may sit right next to the price, because the measured stops level is 0. Each line says what the platform will accept.

None of that is a price. A condition can change what a trade costs by changing what a trade can be - the lot step sets the resolution of every per-lot figure on the site - but it does not itself charge anything.

The distinction matters when a plan is being checked. A plan fails a condition when the platform will not accept it, and it fails a budget when the charges add up past what was set aside. Those are different failures, with different pages behind them.

The lines on this sheet that do touch money

The commission is the plainest of them: on a raw-spread account it is $3.50 per lot per side, fixed by the account rather than by the market, and it is the one entry cost that can be multiplied out before a single order is placed.

The margin levels are the other, though they are not a charge. They set the point at which a position is closed out rather than a sum that leaves the balance, and the capital side of that arithmetic is what our calculators answer.

Everything else on the sheet - sizes, steps, contract size, stops level, the execution readings - describes behaviour. It shapes cost without being cost.

What the sheet is silent about

It says nothing about the account as an object. The specification governs orders, and an account can be charged when it places none: after six months of no activity an inactivity fee applies, and no line on this page predicts or prevents it.

It says nothing about money arriving or leaving either. FxPro covers deposit transfer fees and takes no withdrawal fee on most methods, while a bank or provider at the far end may charge its own, and money returns along the route it arrived on - none of which is a condition of the trading server.

And it does not carry an instrument's own terms. Adjustments may be applied to open positions on instruments that pay them, and the rates for holding are published per instrument on our swap rates page; the full perimeter is catalogued on spreads and costs.

Frequently asked questions

Do the trading conditions include the cost of trading?
Only in part. The commission on a raw-spread account, $3.50 per lot per side, is a condition of the account. The spread is quoted by the market, and account-level items such as the inactivity fee after six months of no activity are set outside the specification entirely.
What is the minimum and maximum trade size at FxPro?
On the measured Raw+ account the minimum order is 0.01 lot and the maximum is 500 lots, in 0.01-lot steps. One standard lot is 100,000 units on an FX major.
Does FxPro have a minimum stop-loss distance?
No. The measured stops level is 0, so you can place a stop-loss or take-profit right next to the price - useful for scalping and short-term strategies.
How many instruments can I trade at FxPro?
FxPro's live MT5 server carries 2,116 tradable instruments across forex, shares, indices, metals, energies and ETFs.
How fast does FxPro execute orders?
The execution table above carries the measured fill times for market orders on EUR/USD, with near-zero slippage and no rejects across the tested sizes.
Which charges does the specification not set?
Adjustments applied under an instrument's own terms, anything a bank or provider charges when money moves, the inactivity fee that applies after six months of no activity, and the rates published per instrument on our swap rates page.
Does an account with nothing open still have conditions?
The order rules and margin levels only bite while a position exists, but the account keeps obligations of its own: after six months of no activity an inactivity fee applies.
